Detailed description is CeCe's Gourmet Cookies The inspiration for CeCe’s Gourmet Cookies came with the birth of my son, affectionately known as Trey.
Like many mothers, I was overwhelmed with guilt about leaving my child in the care of others while I worked to provide for us.
Quitting my job was not an option.
The guilt that I felt, however, was unyielding.
I made a promise to myself to retire as soon as I became eligible.
The question was how could I retire and provide for my son and me? I prayed to God to for guidance.
He answered and I moved forward in faith.

I love baking! As a child, I was always in the kitchen with my mother helping to prepare meals.
My mother was an excellent cook and baker.
She prepared a desert with every dinner.
Her caramel cake and sweet potato pie were legendary.
I baked my first cake from scratch- a yellow, layered cake with chocolate icing when I was nine years old! I have been baking all my life to the delight of family, friends and co-workers.

I transformed my kitchen into a cookie laboratory and used the years leading up to retirement to hone my baking skills and create a variety of delicious and delectable cookies.
