Detailed description is Our farm was the Yerington Dairy from the 1920's to 1947. Our family bought the farm in 1947. Yerington has 50,000 acres of farmland. In that acreage, Yerington produces 1/4 of Nevada's agricultural products.. . . Our farm used to grow two hundred eighty acres of organic alfalfa. Now our farm is divided into a small four acre garden and a larger two hundred seventy-six acre farm. In the garden we grow: Potatoes, Pumpkins, Yellow Zucchini, Watermelon, Cantaloupe, Corn, Tomatoes, etc. In the farm we grow: Onions, Garlic, and Organic Alfalfa.. . We attend the farmer's markets in Reno, Sparks, and Minden. At our Farm's Market Stand we also sell Organic: Beets, Beans, Banana Squash, Carrots, Tomatoes, Arugala, Spinach, etc. . . .
