In operation since 1974, the Butte County Regional Occupational Program (ROP) is a career technical education program of the Butte County Office of Education.
In cooperation with the business community, ROP prepares people for work by providing adults with marketable skills, work ethics and job training needed to build and keep a career.
ROP has been accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges since 1988 and was awarded accreditation with the Council on Occupational Education in 2013.
