In early August we celebrated 90 years since the Cape York Hotel was first officially opened making it one of the oldest pubs in Far North Queensland and also our own one year anniversary since we've opened.
In the past year the Cape York Hotel has flourished and became a social community focal point, with sponsorship of two of the biggest professional sports teams based in Cairns, both the FNQ Heat and the Northern Pride have used the Sports Bar as their clubhouse for the season.
