Fondato nel 1994, padrino il Maestro Michelangelo Antonioni che scelse la famosa piazzetta per le proiezioni, promuove da 21 anni il Cortometraggio d’autore italiano e internazionale ed è riconosciuto dalla stampa leader del settore in Italia.. . Il Festival è noto al mondo del cinema e della comunicazione per il suo mix di stile e qualità della proposta culturale, capace di attrarre nello stupendo scenario di Capalbio decision-makers della comunicazione e della politica, insieme ai tanti protagonisti dello spettacolo e della cultura.
