Detailed description is Athletic therapy is used to prevent, treat, and rehabilitate musculoskeletal injuries/ailments. I am a Certified Athletic Therapist, or CAT(C), in Drayton Valley, AB. My goal is to make you feel and move better, closer to the way your body was meant to move. I will work with you in a relaxed, come-as-you-are environment. Through our assessment and subsequent therapy sessions, we will work together to achieve pain-free movement, and ideally you will end up learning ways to prevent pain and promote movement. My treatment style is very hands on, with many manual therapy techniques. I also give all of my clients 'homework' - exercises to correct or prevent their current and future injuries that they can do at home or at the gym. I encourage individuals to follow an active lifestyle in whatever way they choose. I personally am a fan of slow pitch, CrossFit, yoga, running, weight lifting, snowboarding, wake boarding, wake surfing, and trying new activities regularly!.
