The California Pines Community Land Trust is a new 501(c)(3) nonprofit formed by local property owners to help the residents and property owners in our failed 15,000 acre development reclaim their dreams and reform our poorly subdivided and abused corner of north-eastern California into a mecca for wildlife and quiet, rural country living. . . This effort was spearheaded by a renegade City Planner tired of seeing massive land-deals destroy the very essence of what brings us to the land in the first place. . . Are you tired of seeing the land you love destroyed? Take a stand with us, and stop the insanity. Be part of an historic effort to transform an economic albatross into a haven for local wildlife, a quiet refuge from the urban world, and a community for those seeking a simpler way of life. . .
