Detailed description is Burra Creek Cottage is a beautifully renovated stone miners cottage situated alongside the creek on peaceful Bridge street east, only a few minutes walk from Market Square and the centre of town. It has three bedrooms, including a large honeymoon suite. Burra Creek Cottage is a beautifully renovated stone miners cottage. With the land being granted in 1840, and the three cottages built around 1855, this is now one large home away from home.. Nestled on a corner, alongside the creek, at the footbridge end of peaceful Bridge street east, in the historic tourist township of Burra,. Situated only 30 minutes north east of the beautiful Clare Valley in South Australia's. Mid North.. It is only a few minutes walk across the old footbridge and youare in Market square and the centre of the Burra township. . The cottage has three bedrooms.... Bedroom one is the 'Heritage suite', . a spacious double sized room with a walk in robe, a fully equipped ensuite, dressing table, armchair and a queen sized wrought iron canopy bed . Bedroom two is the 'Chantilly' . with a queen size wood and wrought iron bed, dressing table, wardrobe and full length mirror.. Bedroom three is the 'Willow'. with two single wrought iron beds, an armchair wardrobe and full length mirror.. All bedding and linen is provided.. There is a large fully equipped kitchen, with Nespresso coffee machine, dining table and breakfast bar, . this is adjacent to the lounge area which has an air conditioner and a gas combustion heater, also a digital television and dvd player with a wide range of movies for everyone.. There is a laundry room with a washing machine, and a 3rd toilet.. There is also a second lounge area with a cd player/am-fm radio with a collection of cd's to suit all tastes.. This room has a log heater and access to the sheltered garden and outdoor setting, where you can sit and view the creek while enjoying a peaceful moment.. Or you can pop on your sneakers and wander along the Mawson Walking Trail that meanders it's way alongside the creek that is currently home to happily fed ducks and turtles.. There is also outdoor seating on the deck, in the fully enclosed private rear yard, and a tree surround bench seat on the lawn under the shade of the beautiful willow tree. There is a bbq in the park area over by the creek, close enough to dart home if you forget the sauce... The cottage has two full sized bathrooms, each have bathtub, (main has a clawfoot bathtub) and shower facilities as well as a toilet.. There is ample laneway access to the rear yard with private parking, and on street parking is also available.. Step back in time and enjoy yesterdays accommodation.. with todays luxury
