Detailed description is Bruning's School of Martial Arts is a reality-based martial arts school that prepares individuals for hand to hand self defense, located in Middlebury, IN.
Bruning's School of Martial Arts was founded in July of 2012.
It was created and is run by Eric Bruning, 2nd dan, who has studied under Senior Master Dana Smeltzer, 6th dan, since April of 2007.

The school uses traditional Chung Do Kwan, Tae Kwon Do for class structure, and ranking, but utilizes many techniques from various arts and styles.
All classes are geared toward practical self defense and combatives.

BSMA also offers a basic women's self defense course, and an advanced version of the course throughout the year, in varying locations.
