We have been located in the Brewer Parks and Recreation Department building at 318 Wilson Street in Brewer, Maine for over 40 years.

Our style is a unique blend of GoJu with other traditional style influences.
This style came out of the COMJUKA System of Angeles City, Pampanga, Philippines.
It was refined during the late 1960s and early 1970s at Clark Air Base and brought back to the United States in 1972 by Sensei Paul Noto..
Sensei Noto founded the Brewer School of Karate in 1974 and was the head instructor for 21 years through 1995.
Gary West, a student of Sensei Noto’s since 1984, is now the lead instructor of the school.
Sensei West receives a tremendous amount of help from Sensei Philip Morrill, Sempei Andrew Bernardini and Sempei Jay Rankin..
