Or at least enjoy the story! :) We are a family of five trying to homestead on our small plot in upstate NY. We did not originally think we would want to, but then we started a garden. And then my husband tried out a new hobby that he was interested in: beekeeping. And then we thought: "wouldn't it be nice to have chickens wandering around the yard". And it's just kept growing from there.. . We've learned about beekeeping, gardening, food preservation, raising chickens, processing chickens, and a variety of other homesteading fun stuff, and we plan to continue moving forward with all that learning. And now, with sharing what we are learning, with all the glories and horrible mistakes we make along the way.. .
