Established in 1954, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Oxnard and Port Hueneme (BGCOP) is a nonprofit 501(c) (3) youth service organization.
The Mission of BGCOP is “to inspire and enable all youth, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential, as productive, responsible and caring citizens”.
The BGCOP is a member of the national organization Boys & Girls Clubs of America.
The BGCOP is a membership organization.
Annual member dues is $20.00 however, no one is turned away regardless of ability to pay.

Seventy percent are Hispanic/Latino, 10% African-American, 5% Caucasian, 3% Asian and 0.4% Native American.
Of those members, 49% percent are girls and 51% are boys.
