This year marks the tenth anniversary of the Bluegrass on the Farm festival at the Agricultural History Farm Park in Derwood, Maryland.
The first event in 2006 was hosted by the Friends of the Agricultural History Farm Park, Inc.
After that first year the traditional Music Foundation joined forces with the Friends of the Farm in 2007 and provided funds and expertise to help build the event into one of the most successful outdoor music festivals in the immediate Washington DC area..
The event offers a day of good, old-time bluegrass and traditional music in an early 20th century farm setting right in the middle of Montgomery County..
This year’s festival will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2014, from noon until 6PM.
