Blue Mission is an independent, non-confessional, non-governmental organisation (NGO) based in Saida, South Lebanon. Since 2002, we have worked with children, teachers and parents in the areas of nonviolent conflict resolution, peace-building, and psychosocial intervention. Since the outbreak of the Syrian crisis in 2011, and the ensuing mass influx of refugees into Lebanon, Blue Mission has offered protection, non-formal education, psychosocial therapy, and mobile primary healthcare services to refugees across South Lebanon, as well as to host populations.. . Blue Mission stimulates individuals and communities to adopt active social and civic roles, engage in decision-making processes, and develop sustainable partnerships within and across communities. This is achieved through programs that promote human rights and human security, focus on gender and social peace, and oppose all forms of violence and discrimination.
