In 2012 she had her first photographic exhibition Rox & The Blue Guitar in Paddington featuring the first blue guitar endorsed by Katy Perry. . . It was a chance meeting in Redfern during a photo shoot with an 18 year old homeless boy that sowed the seed of the Blue Guitar Project. Roxy connected with the boy who exposed her to the world of homeless Australian teenagers, and their desperation to get off the streets and make their dreams come true.. . Roxy has created an in-school development program providing underprivileged teenagers the same opportunities to pursue their dreams as all young people. Last year four successful pilot projects ran in Sydney high schools, and the aim is to have 10 pilot projects running by the end of 2017. . The premise of the program is to bring the community, high profile performers and schools together by asking them to participate or “Strike Three Chords” in line with the three pillars of humanity, Unity, Equality and Freedom..
