Detailed description is Blanket BC Society collects blankets, socks, pillow cases, scarves, toques, mitts and gloves for shelter programs all across the Lower Mainland of British Columbia. Gregory Ould and his son Benjamin, Co-Founders of Blanket BC started their Winter Annual Blanket Drive officially in the winter of 2006 collecting nearly 2000 blankets. The duo collect blankets from any person or company that wishes to donate blankets. All blankets are divided up and distributed to shelters, churches and other organizations that are seeking these items. Blanket BC is also raising awareness to the homelessness in our communities. Prevention is key. While there will always be someone in need, Blanket BC will be there to support those who are hands on with these harsh issues.
