En voor jou gaan we helemaal los!. Het bistrobarconcept is gestoeld op één heldere kernwaarde: voor een goede prijs smaakvol en uitdagend eten. De menukaart bestaat uit een dik twintigtal gerechten die ieder voor 10 euro per gerecht te bestellen zijn. . . De entourage is grootstedelijk, de bistrokaart internationaal georiënteerd. De naam Berlin refereert uiteraard aan de meest creatieve broedplaats op culinair gebied van dit moment. . . Bistrobar Berlin opende zaterdag 16 januari de deuren. In de filosofie van het succesvolle Amsterdamse Gastrobar-concept verbinden de Nijmeegse ondernemers Thijs van Gastel en Frank Goossens dezelfde waarden aan een avond culinair samenzijn in Nijmegen: meer durf, meer smaak, maar minder handelingen.. . Ron Blaauw treedt hierbij op als huisadviseur. De voorbije maanden heeft hij in een adviesrol de Bistrobar bijgestaan in het ontwikkelen van concept en kaart. Dus geen nieuwe zaak van Blaauw, wel een eerste vertaling van zijn visie naar het oosten van het land. De koks van Berlin (het voormalige #BRUUT aan de Daalseweg) draaiden mee in de keuken van de Gastrobar, terwijl het pand de afgelopen weken een grondige verbouwing onderging. . .
