Results 2013 Dera Ghazi Khan Board Result 2013 9th Results, 10th Result, 11th Results, 12th Result 2013 Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Dera Ghazi Khan was established in 1989 by the struggle of the then Education Minister, Punjab to conduct the various examinations of the students of Dera Ghazi Khan Division comprising of four Districts i.e. Dera Ghazi Khan, Muzaffargarh, Layyah and Rajanpur. Due to non-availability of proper building, initially, the offices of the |Chairman and Controller were established in the premises of Govt. Comprehensive School, D.G.Khan and Secretary Office in the rented buildings, which was shifted at different colonies of District Dera Ghazi Khan from time to time. In 1996, all the branches of the Board were shifted in the Hostel Building and residence of Govt. Comprehensive School, D.G.Khan. The land measuring 103 kanals and 18 Marlas, was purchased in two phases in 1991 & 1994 respectively for the construction of Board complex in Rs. 50,46,000/-. In 2001, Board’s administration took up the issue for construction of Board complex and the executive District officer (Works & services) D.G.Khan was requested for the execution of work at the coast of Rs.45.799 millions. Foundation stone of the Board’s campus was laid by Lt.General (Rtd) Khalid Maqbool, Governor of the Punjab on 12-03-2002. Presently all the offices of the Board i.e. Chairman, Secretary, Controller and other branches are functioning in its new, vast and beautiful building situated art Mustafa Chowk, Multan Road, Dera Ghazi Khan which was inaugurated buy the honorable Minister for Education, Punjab, Mian Imran Masood on 9th August, 2004. Now, we have our own Canteen, Habib Bank Ltd. Post office, Mosque, Cycle / Motor cycle & Car stand, Multipurpose Hall for various activities and above all many beautiful grassy lawns for extra-curricular activities in the premises of this complex.
