We’d always dreamt of running our own small holding and so in 2010, with our 3 kids finally all grown up, we took the plunge and opted for living ‘The Good Life’..

Leaving our previous professions, possessions, and house behind was a big decision but with Rodney’s farming background and my love of everything countryside it was a decision we both knew we’d not regret.
It was just a case of finding the right animals and farm for us….

After a chance introduction to a herd of alpacas, we immediately realised they were the animals for us; charming, inquisitive and with a gentle nature..

After starting our smallholding business in Gloucestershire we took the move to Lampeter in November 2013..

We’ve made a conscious decision to follow non-intensive, sustainable, and ethical methods that are low impact and in-keeping with the beautiful countryside surrounding us..
