Bio Concepts was founded in 1984 by Nutritional Biochemist and author Henry Osiecki.
Henry has published a number of text books on nutrition including The Nutrient Bible and his most recent text book, Cancer: The Importance of Clinical Nutrition.
He also spent time as a research scientist and published a number of scientific papers in peer reviewed journals.
Henry has been an integral part of the development and success of this company, helping Bio Concepts to be the first to bring a number of key nutrients into the Australian market such as CoQ10, Lipoic Acid and Acetyl-L- Carnitine.
He was also the first to introduce glucosamine into Australia and promote this as the anti-arthritic formulae in the early 1990’s.
He has played a pivotal role in changing the pharmaceutical model of formulations into a nutritional model and is the founder of the concept of synergistic formulations in an era where only orthomolecular high dose nutrients were available.
