Their prized Pedigree herd of Red Devon cattle have been shown with great success and now, Simon and Tracey, have launched 'Big Red Cow' which offers both fresh meat and delicious farm-cooked meals, available directly to the public. . . Although Red Devon cattle are Simon and Tracey's main farming operation, they also keep a native breed of Berkshire pigs and Exmoor Horn sheep (crossed with Charollais). All cuts of meat are available - from brisket on the bone, to modern cuts such as stuffed summer lamb joint. Meat boxes can be ordered - and tailormade - which include roasting joints, steak, stewing meat and sausages. . . Their new Exmoor Finest Meats kitchen enables them to prepare a delicious range of freshly cooked foods - from Steak & Ale Pie, Casseroles and Beef Wellington, to Lasagne, Quiches, Scones and Cakes.
