Detailed description is We are a Vancouver-based registered non-profit society dedicated to re-homing dogs from Californian high-kill shelters and remote Canadian communities.
We rescue dogs locally, from Northern Canadian reservations and dogs about to be euthanized in high-kill shelters in California.
These shelters destroy 87% of their intake or nearly 1000 loving dogs a month.

We are not changing the world with our small rescue efforts, but to quote a popular saying in rescue, 'we are surely changing the world for that one dog'.
These dogs are sad, sick, often starving, and many are badly abused.
We take these dogs in to foster homes where they are lovingly restored to health.
