Tο 1974 ο Αλέξανδρος και η Bettina Κόκα εισήλθαν δυναμικά στον εμπορικό κόσμο της Θεσσαλονίκης ανοίγοντας το πρώτο κατάστημα γυναικείων ρούχων με την επωνυμία "Alex" στην οδό Γεωργίου Σταύρου, στο κέντρο της πόλης. Μετά από 18 χρόνια επιτυχημένης πορείας το 1992 ανοίγουν το δεύτερό τους κατάστημα με την επωνυμία "Bettina" στην οδό Τσιμισκή, ενώ λίγα χρόνια αργότερα ανοίγει και το "Bettina exclusive" στο εμπορικό κέντρο "Πλατεία". Από το 2002 και μετα η δεύτερη γενιά της οικογένειας αναλαμβάνει όλο και πιο ενεργό ρόλο δίνοντας νέα πνοή στα καταστήματα..
