Detailed description is I'm a highly trained Service Dog who assists my handler with balance, mobility, vision, and a few other things related to his injuries incurred as a member of the United States Air Force.
My sister and I were abandoned as puppies on a farm in rural New Mexico in 2013.
We were later taken in by an animal rescue, and that’s where my real story begins….enter my handler, Mike Rushton.
Mike was injured while serving in the Air Force, and while speaking with other injured veterans he learned that a Service Dog might be of great benefit.

Mike began looking for a dog to get trained as his Service Dog and as it turns out I had already been visited and evaluated by a Service Dog organization, but they did not have room for me in their kennel at that time.
Mike took me in and over the next 2 years began the long, tedious, sometimes frustrating, but mostly fun, process of getting me properly trained to assist him with his disabilities.
With the help of several Service Dog organizations, and an amazing trainer from Barkerhaus Kennels in El Paso, TX, Mike and I worked together to learn all we could.
I passed all my obedience testing with flying colors, and then went on to pass my ADI Public Access test.

Together we are constantly learning new ways to help each other, and he’s the best human ever! .
