Detailed description is Official Page for Belmont House!. . The Belmont House Intercultural Center is available for student organizational meetings, informal receptions, and temporary housing. The Belmont House Intercultural Centre is operated by the Office of Intercultural Programs at Loras College. The centre features a “Kitchen Library” where students may “check out” food and “return” by the “due date.” The kitchen supplies are donated by Loras College faculty, staff, students, and community members.. . The concept of establishing a cultural centre on the Loras College campus began in the late 1960’s when African American students orchestrated a sit-in at Henion Manor to demand a Black Cultural Centre at Loras College.
