British Cycle Factory (BCF) was started in 2000 out of a small 2 car garage with 1 home made lift, a small toolbox, and a handful of old parts. Over the past 16 years we have out grown 3 different buildings, have 5 lifts, bigger tool boxes and have bought out several old dealerships to acquire all the parts needed to accomplish difficult restorations, custom builds and general service needed to keep these iconic motorcycles on the road. . . The vision in the beginning was to specialize in vintage British motorcycles but not many people had heard about us yet, so, we worked on any vintage motorcycle we could get our hands on. Since those days we have been able to hone our craft and focus on just vintage Brit bikes. Working on so many "odd-ball" bikes we became very good at diagnosing problems and correcting them by means of modern "upgrades". Linking old and new technology is the best way to make old motorcycles that were normally unreliable into "user-friendly" bikes that start on the first kick and go down the road properly.. . Here at BCF we like to be constantly learning new ways of problem solving and diagnosis yet still keeping that vintage atmosphere in the shop. We like to think of the shop as a window into the past, to preserve history but welcome modern technology at the same time. We strive everyday to keep these old relics of the past on the streets for everyone to enjoy. To us, there is nothing better than being the first guy to fire up a bike that has not run in 40 years and go down the road on it. There is nothing better than the smell of an old motorcycle waking up and breaking back in!
