Detailed description is This is the BBQ Rescue Catering and Food Truck Project. Follow us on our journey as we use our Booth Setup to build & equip our 1964 Rescue Truck. We are the BBQ Rescue Catering Food Truck and we are on a RESCUE mission. This mission is to turn our 1964 Ford Rescue Truck into a Food Truck that will serve the “Best BBQ in the Northeast” and help children suffering from burn injuries attend The Arthur C. Luf Children's Burn Camp located in Union CT. We’ve “Rescued” the truck which was originally commissioned as HS Emergency 4 in Windsor CT. Now we are using it to carry our Food Booth to various functions, private parties and events in order to finish the build and turn the Food Truck into a unique mobile Barbeque Pit. Its continuing mission will not only be to bring great food to the citizens of CT, but to also raise as much funding as possible for the children's burn camp. Once the truck is completed and running we will donate 2% of our gross sales to the camp on a monthly basis in order to help make sure these kids get to go in the years to come.
