The Bartlett Regional Hospital Foundation was formed in Juneau, Alaska, in 1992 and incorporated in 1994 under IRS code 501(C) (3) to support Bartlett Regional Hospital in delivering quality health care to residents and visitors of Southeast Alaska.
The region is made up of remote island communities, totaling some 80,000 population with nearly one-million visitors annually..

Bartlett House is conveniently located behind the Hospital and has eight guest rooms and a common area for cooking and relaxing.
Through major funding from the Reifenstein Family, in the spring of 2003, the Foundation partnered with Renal Care Group to open the Reifenstein Dialysis Center, providing nine renal dialysis stations at the center located in the Mendenhall Valley.

Most recently, the Foundation has reopened and renamed the Hospital Gift Shop, “Blue Heron Gifts at Bartlett”.
The Gift Shop Hours are 11:00 a.m.
to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday and Blue Heron carries a variety of gifts, sundries, and fresh flowers.
