Detailed description is sharing my passion and point of view with every shutter click! Angie. . I am the photographer and creative director of Bare Foot Photography. Ever since I was a little girl I have been fascinated with photography. It started with puzzles. All the beautiful places, and things. Creating images of places I'd never seen before. Capturing beauty in the least likely of places. From there it transformed into looking at the world and thinking to myself "how could I make this into the perfect puzzle?" As I grew older and more aware of the process I became more and more intrigued by photography. Not just the photos, but the camera, the film, the dark room. The whole entire process. Looking at National Geographic's and dreaming of traveling and having my photo's published! In the sixth grade I got my first camera. A 110 format Looney Toons camera for Christmas. I used it at camp, taking pictures of the nature, wild life, water, anything that caught my eye! The older I got the more I became interested. I researched and educated myself as much as I could. When I hit high school and the Internet was at my finger tips, and the classes were offered I fell deeper into love with it. There wasn't an aspect of it that didn't fascinate me. My Junior year I joined the annual staff, The best thing that happened to me career wise at that point. This is where I learned the most, composition, developing, editing, the works. A little bit of film, a little bit of digital. I made the decision to pursue photography as a career in my final years of high school. I got myself some old Minoltas and a bunch of film and my camera and I were inseparable. I did my senior project on photography and researched the history extensively. I shadowed the local newspaper editor for my project, I had the opportunity to help shoot the High School basketball game, and had my photos published in the local sports page! . . I went on to The Art Institute of Seattle to study photography from there. Where I fine tuned some of my skills. I studied with The New York Institute of Photography where I taught myself the art of digital photography, and familiarized myself with photoshop. I've slowly been working on building a business, learning what I can at every opportunity, helping other aspiring photographers where I can, and upgrading and improving my equipment and skills. . . I am married to my high school sweetheart and love of my life, we have three wonderful children, and really love what we do! Photography is so much more than a job for me. It's a dream, a passion of mine. I put a lot of time and dedication into being a photographer, and absolutely LOVE sharing my work with others. Nothing about my business is more rewarding to me than the reaction of my clients. I try to cater each session to the client. Everyone is different, has different tastes and wishes. I strive to bring your dreams and expectations to life. I love to work together with my clients to produce the perfect images for them. . . Outside of portrait photography my favorite is macro nature photography, although I love ALL kinds of photography, and will give anything a try at least once!
