Şanslıyım ve bu kadar şanslı olmayanlar için çalışmaya karar verdim. Koç Üniversitesi’nden hukukçu olarak mezun olurken sevmenin, saymanın, uzlaşmanın nice değerli olduğunu bir kez daha anladım. . . Öğrendiklerimi hayata geçirmek için etkili yolların ne olabileceği sorusu üzerine düşünmeyi hiç bırakmadım. Amerika, İngiltere ve Fransa’daki önemli fakültelerde, gelişmişliğin temellerini oluşturan güçlü hukuk sistemlerini inceledim. Genç bir kadın olarak; önderimiz Atatürk’ün 92 sene önce açtığı yolda yaya kaldığımızı kaldığımızı üzülerek gördüm.. . . Yaşadığım toplumun refah seviyesini ve yaşam kalitesini yükseltmek için devletin karar alma mekanizmalarının temel kaynağı olan parlamentoda bulunmak ve ülkenin temel politikalarının oluşturması sürecine, biz gençlerin ve özellikle kadınların da bilfiil katılmamız gerektiğine inanıyorum. Siyasette deneyimin yadsınmayacak önemini biliyorum, Ülkemin geleceği planlanırken, biz gençlerden çok şeyler beklenirken, bütün gençlerin geleceğine sözcülük ve gözcülük eden olmak istiyorum.. . Halen “Parlamento Komisyonları ve Kadın Erkek Fırsat Eşitliği Komisyonunun Karar Alma Süreçlerine Etkisi” konulu Yüksek Lisans tezimi yazmakta ve avukatlık yapmaktayım.
