I retired at the age of 54 from a twenty-two year career with SWBT/SBC Communications, now ATT as a Global Account Executive where I sold voice and data equipment and services to fortune 500 customers. I also taught evening classes for fifteen years at St. Louis Community College during my work career at SWBT/ATT. I now engage my time in civic and personal activities. I was elected to the University of Missouri Extension Service for Jefferson County and served 2011-2015. In 2004 I first volunteered at Jefferson County Habitat for Humanity and resigned on December 31, 2012 from the Jefferson County Habitat for Humanitypositions of Board of Directors, Vice President Administration and Construction Manager. Under my stewardship sixteen (16) Habitat homes were built in Jefferson County Missouri. I then served on the Board of Directors for Ride On St. Louis an Equine Assisted Activities & Therapyorganization located in Kimmswick, Missouri from September 2013 until December 2014. I have also served on the Board of Directors of JudevineCenter for Autism (now Life Skills which merged with Touch PointAutism), Writers Society of Jefferson County and numerous subdivision boards. I have always been involved in the community wherever I have lived and have run for many local, regional and state public offices.. . Personal Beliefs, Goals:. I am conservative and traditional in my core beliefs; as such, I believe that we should offer our fellow man/woman a hand up not a hand out.
