하나님 없이 살던 형제들에게 하나님의 사랑을 알게 하고, 그들을 하나님의 일군으로 훈련시켜 평생 사역지(life mission field)로 보내는 것입니다.

그래서 우리 교회에서는 송별예배라는 말을 쓰지 않습니다.
단, 선교사 파송 예배나 파송식이 있을 뿐입니다.
우리는 그들을 보내며 한편으로 아쉬워 하지만, 오히려 자랑스럽게 생각합니다.
