CHOOSING THE RIGHT LOCATION. . ~ I want your experience to be awesome! When you choose your setting remember what is there for your background.. . ~ Look for places with rows of trees, brick walls, logs, rocks, and boulders for sitting on, paths, patches of flowers (they can be weeds! they are pretty too and add a very whimsical touch!), grasses, barns, you get my meaning. Any place that has alot of texture for your background and we'll work with it. They are everywhere! Also believe it or not junky things like old cars, chipping paint, and rust can make an awesome picture!. . ~ If your session is in the middle of the day you will need a place where there is an open amount of shade. This is like under a big tree, shady side of a wall or building, under cover slightly, etc. The harsh light from the middle of the day looks terrible in photos even with my light reflector. Unless that's what you're going for!. . ~ The time of the day is a big thing for open places like fields, beaches, and roads. I suggest about an hour or so before sunset, in the morning, or on a cloudy day for those shots. . . ~ Take a look on the web for ideas you may have for backgrounds, let me know your style, and email me them if you can. I have such a huge amount of styles I just love them all. I do have a few places that I like but are always looking for more!. . ~ Oh, and by the way. . . I can't do train track pictures.
