Assam Altaf is one of a new class of successful young photographers. For him photography is very passion driven. His work was picked up by many prominent Pakistani media channels, in Vib Global as “Up Coming Talent” and in Asiana Magazine “Marriage in Islam”.. . Assam is an amazing photographer who is 25 years old and resides in Lahore, Pakistan. Assam had done work all over the Pakistan. He did Masters in Mass Communication from University of South Asia. He did professional degrees in photography from National College of Arts (NCA), Lahore and from Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS).. . Assam has been into photography ever since he was kid. He began taking pictures at 13 started as a hobby with Reel Cam since 2000. He had a few simple cameras when he was kid like Web Cam, Fine Cam and Yashika Digital Cam, but then he got his first real SLR camera (Nikon D90) in 2009 and that’s when he started getting more serious about photography and then he started professionally. Since then he have had many cameras, lenses, and gear.. . Assam is known as an Artist because he had great passion for music, being a talented pianist. He is absolute genius when it came to capturing candid moments, he relied on natural light and he produce superb and high quality pictures. The distinct style of Assam’s photography is this that his photographic and lighting techniques are superb. He is incredibly curious and very hardworking.. . He tend to shoot weddings in a fashion way and that inspiring people to hire him for their big days. He likes to play with lights and angles in portraits and weddings and that’s why he produces breath taking pictures. He believes that Photoshop will never create the photo; occupy yourself with lighting and lighting makes photography.. . He believes that photography is not all about spending in expensive equipment and it doesn’t automatically make you a better photographer.. . Further his advice for upcoming photographers is that “money will come, just be real or creative about things because photography is all about creativity”.. .
