Family friends and followers, Laura and I would like to announce our next big adventure for the month of August and September! . . How far will we make it? How many days will we endure the conditions? All bets are off. . . This will be by far the longest duration either of us have spent in the wilderness, the first time we will be doing it by ourselves and the first time we will be constantly on the move. We are not very experienced hikers for that matter, but we are goal oriented and share a crazy sense of adventure. I’ve had this idea for a while now, and I’m lucky to have a friend like Laura who’s wild enough to go along with it! . . The Plan. . - We intend on hiking between 15-35km per day and complete the hike in 30-40 days. . - We will be dropped off @ our starting point, in Queenston Heights Park, Niagara in August and make our way north as far as we can, camping out along the trail. - We intend on having food drops organized every 3-5 days to minimize time wasted detouring into towns for supplies. The goal is to leave the trail as little as possible. Aiming to be on the trail 95% of the time.
