Belo Jardim foi o primeiro município pernambucano a receber a Carteira Nacional de Artesanato Brasileiro, no início deste ano.
A carteira é o primeiro passo para o reconhecimento profissional do artesão e para a inclusão dele em projetos voltados para a produção artesanal.
