Paul Clemence is an award winning photographer, artist and visual poet exploring the cross sections of design, art and architecture.
He exhibits in the international fine arts circuit , from classic B & W prints to cutting edge large scale photographic urban installations at important cultural events such as Venice Architecture Biennale, ArtBasel/Design Miami and Milan’s FuoriSalone.
His work is in both public and private collections.
A published author, his book "Mies van der Rohe's FARNSWORTH HOUSE" remains to this day the most complete photo documentation of the iconic modern residential design, a selection of these photos is part of the Mies van der Rohe Archives housed by MoMa.
He is widely published in arts, architecture and lifestyle magazines, having photographed and interviewed the likes of Jorge Pardo, Campana Brothers, Renzo Piano, Lord Norman Foster, Daniel Libeskind, Dame Zaha Hadid, Kazuyo Sejima, Dror Benshetrit , Oidle Decq, Bjarke Ingles and many other architecture and design personalities.

Paul Clemence is originally from Brazil, where he received a Bachelor Degree in Architecture from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro. Since 1990 he's been living and photographing in Miami. After winning several photography awards throughout the years, in 2000 he successfully launched the " SOUTH BEACH COLLECTION " line of framed photos and black & white postcards, now available at selected locations like South Beach Style, Books & Books, the Bass Museum Shop, the Loews Hotel and the Wolfsonian Museum Bookstore. Beyond South Florida, he has registered relevant modern and contemporary buildings all over the world, from the geometric lines of Mies van der Rohe to the expressionistic abstraction of Frank Gehry, all caught in film, making the often silent art of architecture properly heard.
