Hypnosis is a wonderful tool that I use regularly to help people learn to relax, increase self-esteem, stop fear of public speaking, along with fear of having blood drawn, going to the dentist, anger management, and to stop panic attacks. What I do is therapeutic hypnosis (which is complete relaxation) and not the stage hypnosis you have seen on TV. I have seen hypnosis change peoples' fears that they have had for years. It is completely safe. You are completely relaxed and I give suggestions to help you. You are capable of talking, or getting up and leaving if you choose. Hypnosis is NOT mind control. We have to get past what people thought about hypnosis 50-75 yrs. ago. This is the age of electronic everything. Intelligent people must be willing to look at ways to improve their personal growth and development. We don't live in caves and hunt animals with sticks anymore because we learned better ways. Therapy is THE way to leave the past behind and move forward into whatever interests you have for tomorrow. Therapy is the way to learn about why we do the things we do and how we can change things we would like to change about ourselves. It is a growing experience. You will discover things about yourself that you didn't know. You will discover where your ideas and habits came from and decide if you want to keep them or make a change.
