Dabei schafft sie es Momente zu erzeugen, deren Intensität sich die Zuhörenden nicht entziehen können. . . Bevor Mignon im Sommer 2017 ihr Soloprojekt gründete, war sie u.a. bei ihrem Jazzquartett "Anna Mignon & Band" zu hören, mit dem sie im Herbst 2014 ihre erste CD, eine EP Namens "Little Bird", aufnahm. Den Titelsong der CD gaben die Musiker im Folgejahr in der Sendung "Salon Schräg" von Schau TV und auf Balcony TV zum Besten. 2016 wurde die Musik der Band auf Radio Orange vorgestellt.. In demselben Jahr begann sich die Sängerin mit Gedichten des Humoristen Wilhelm Buschs auseinanderzusetzen, mit dessen Geschichten sie vor allem einige Kindheitserinnerungen verbindet. Es folgten einige Vertonungen bekannter Gedichte Buschs, die sie mit ihrem Jazzquartett auf erlesenen wiener Bühnen präsentierte.. Aus dieser Arbeit heraus entstand 2017 die Idee eines kunstübergreifenden Projekts, das Literatur und Musik in Form einer stimmungsvollen klanglichen und inhaltlichen Collage verbindet: der Baustein für die Kollaboration mit der Autorin und langjährigen Freundin Lena Rubey war gelegt. . Das gemeinsame Programm „Worttöne“ wird erstmals im November 2017 zu hören sein.
