Detailed description is Photographer based in Tamworth NSW About Me. I’m Andrew Pearson a freelance photographer. I am a father to 5 beautiful children and husband to my gorgeous wife. I am a man of the land, comedian in my head and also reality ;), and photographer by heart. . Prior to undertaking photography as a career I was a NSW Police Officer. I graduated from the Academy in 1997 and served proudly until 2011. I left to concentrate on things in life that were important to me and had no doubt been neglected to some degree during my service. I have had a camera in my hand since I was 12 years old. I feel blessed that I have the ability to make this my vocation and not just a hobby. . My wife and I live on our farm outside of Tamworth and are lucky to be able to give our kids a sense of connection with the land. Our property also doubles as an amazing 150 acre studio that is perfect for nearly all types of photography including my passions of landscape and people. We have wide open views of the Peel Valley, old Barns and yards, Grasses, Horses and Cattle, and various native bushland, all of which make an amazing backdrop. Many of my shoots both paid and pleasure take part on this property. This is truly a great asset as I can offer people who do not have such opportunity the ability to have their images recorded in a truly beautiful location that I know like the back of my hand. My wife and I had our wedding here and without doubt our views are some of the best backdrops for weddings and other photos in the whole of the Tamworth and New England area (I guarantee this). . As far as my work goes I feel very grateful when people invite me into their lives for those special moments. I appreciate the level of trust that is afforded me when capturing those moments that are recorded for a lifetime. My prior career in the Police makes me truly appreciate the special times in life and the importance you and your family members have to each other. Whether I am recording an individual or an extended family I will always give an undertaking of professional and kind service. When it comes to the images I will work with you prior too, and on the day to ensure things have the best chance to run smoothly and the images I capture are cherished.. As far as equipment goes I use the absolute highest quality gear from Canon. Currently I am using a5D Mkiii and 6D Full frame (sensor) body. Lenses include the Canon 16 – 35mm Lii f2.8, Canon 24 – 70mm Lii f 2.8, and Canon 70 – 200mm Lii f2.8. This may or may not make much sense to you depending on your knowledge level but I am extremely transparent with my gear as it is the best and my lens range means I can cover any event with absolute confidence. The one bit of advice I give all people when it comes to looking for a photographer is do your research and find out what gear they use, just ask. A photographers gear is not only a sign of their abilities and commitment but also directly impacts the quality of the images supplied to you. On my facebook page I endeavour to display different styles on work used with my different lenses. I don’t just shoot one type of style.
