In martial arts there are 3 areas of learning and study-.
1.Basics--the words of motion.

Self-Defense--logical and practical "sentences of motion" .

Freestyle [sparring]--tournament (light contact, full contact) or street (utilizing all our natural weapons and targets and environmental considerations)..
