We are a new organization at Columbus State University, looking for students to bring a diverse and exciting experience to our brotherhood. We were formed on December 16, 1925 at Lafayette College by Frank Reed Horton. Since then we have chartered over 300 active chapters worldwide and 250,000 brothers (men and women). Some of our affiliate organizations include the Boy Scouts of America, Girl Scouts of America, and the American Cancer Society.. . Alpha Phi Omega develops the leadership skills of its members. You will have the opportunity to serve as a chapter officer or to plan and execute any number of service and social programs, as well as have the chance to participate in a variety of leadership development programs sponsored by Alpha Phi Omega.. . . FRIENDSHIP. . . Alpha Phi Omega is a fraternal organization. We believe participating in a wide variety of social programs helps build a strong feeling of fellowship.
