With a daily meditation practice, I found it easier and easier to connect with my world. I was now able to manage high levels of stress and periods of anxiety, while easing the toll my life choices were taking on my physical and mental wellbeing. All while bringing a new and fresh appreciation to the way I approached my design and meditative world.. . My transformation had begun.. . In 2012 I became an accredited reiki and ashati energy healer, at the International Institute of Energy Healing (Sydney). Energy healing is an incredibly powerful healing tool. It allows us to remove limiting thought patterns and physical pain bodies we may be carrying, some from as early as childhood. These blockages stop us form functioning to our fullest potential, affecting our emotional, physical and spiritual health. By forging a strong connection to our mental and subconscious worlds, we can access the unique insights of our thoughts and dreams, as we manifest new ways of being.. . In 2015 I graduated as an accredited meditation guide and teacher, via the Australian Center for Holistic Studies (Melbourne). My studies focused on Mindfulness, Health, Insight and Creative Visualisation meditation techniques. These studies focused on texts by Ian Gawler, an Australian author and a prominent advocate for the therapeutic application of mind-body medicine and meditation. The health benefits of meditation are truly endless, personally I’ve experienced greater inner peace, continual personal growth, effectively managed stress, and successfully nurtured periods of self doubt and disconnect. Connecting within my true self, and removing the armour I’d been wearing for years, has lead me here. Today, my aim is to share my journey, in the hope that the skills I have learnt will inspire others to begin their own healing journey within.. .
