Detailed description is Just a girl and her service dog... I have had severe depression and anxiety since I was a small child (I'm 26 now), and recently, the social anxiety has gotten worse. The past year, I had campaigned for a service dog. I was finally approved (by parents and doctor). I planned to find a dog in the shelters to adopt and train myself since I didn't have the funds to spend $5000+ on training.. On December 8, 2016, I went to the Alexandria Animal Shelter to look for the perfect dog for me. When I came up to a dog named Henry, we locked eyes and that was it. He was my dog. I adopted him and named him Finn.. He is now a full time service dog and everyone that meets him loves him. He's a celebrity to some people!. Finn and I have an unbreakable bond and I love living life with him. He's my best friend in the world. He protects me, comforts me, and loves on me even when I don't realize I need it.. I gave him the same birthday as his adoption day, so he was born on 12/8/15 (the shelter said he was about a year old). .
