He was a very talented actor, director, and writer famous on stage and screen since the 1970s .This fansite was created and is maintained by long time fans of Alan Rickman (as in stretching back to the 1980's), through sharing pictures from his extensive body of work we aim to show what a talented actor, director and writer he was as well as a genuinely kind, generous, caring and witty human being. We do NOT promo any fan pages at all, if you post links to anything in the comments they do not show and you will be banned. If you post as your page (fan page or advertising a page to get more likes) you again will be banned! It is rude and disrespectful to spam pages!. . 3: No posting of videos (including fan made ones) unless they come from an official source (in which case send a private message to the Admins asking us to post it) and most definitely no posting of links to pirated films (or asking for links to pirated films)! Alan Rickman disliked YouTube for a reason and yes we know that he read the Shakespeare sonnet very well, it was done for charity (meaning he donated his time for free to raise money for a good cause) don't be cheap go buy it from iTunes or better still buy the CD!. . 4: NO SWEARING or sharing of your personal sexual fantasies there is such a thing as TMI and we like to keep it respectful here! Again this includes profile photographs so if your profile photograph is not safe for children to see don't post here.. . 5: NO posting of hatred for Rima Horton, that should go without saying as we already state the bits about respect but it seems some people just don't get it! Rima Horton was Alan Rickman's choice, they were in love and had been since Alan was 19 and Rima was 18, they were parted only by his death. She travelled with him and they were often seen and photographed together. Don't like it then tough it's a fact, deal with it, don't like her and feel the need to make snide remarks about her then do it elsewhere if you do it here you will be banned, end of story!. . 6: It is great that the Harry Potter films brought more fans into Alan Rickman's fandom, not that it was a tiny fandom before he played that role. He has had a world wide fanbase since 1988 when "Die Hard" was released at the cinema, and it has grown with every film he has done since then. Unfortunately a small percentage of newer fans seem to totally lack any respect at all for Mr Rickman as an actor. It gets really old seeing Snape comments or Harry Potter comments on every single picture posted, it is rude and disrespectful! So NO Snape/Harry Potter comments on photos not related to the series, get some manners or remain on the Harry Potter/Snape fan pages! Again calling him Snape or any other character on unrelated pictures mean immediate BAN! He ignored people who call him by a character name at events take the hint ... don't do it! Same goes for any other actor or actress in the photograph, we tell you their real names in the description use them.. . 7: NO POSTING OF LINKS (sorry we had to mention it again, it seems some people have trouble reading), we will post links to articles etc.If we haven't posted a link then please send us a private message about it. We have no interest in advertising so called fun polls mainly because they usually end up with some fans taking them way too seriously! In the past this has often caused Mr Rickman himself to become uncomfortable and angry about the bad behaviour of some of the people who call themselves fans and we don't want to be a part of that. This page has built up its followers and has a reputation as being somewhere they are not going to get spammed by a load of over excited fans who think him winning some fan poll designed to bring traffic to a page is a matter of life and death, and we want to keep it that way.. . 8: NO TAGGING We removed the tagging option from photographs because people were abusing it, and we were getting sick of having to remove rude and abusive comments from people who did not wish to be tagged. Can people please NOT tag in the comments either, it's very rude and as such the message/comment will be deleted, repeat offenders will be banned.. . 9: Please do not post comments all in capital letters, it's considered to be shouting on the internet. It's very rude to shout, not only that but Facebook (as in the software and not us) automatically hides comments made all in capital letters so only you and your friends see it, which means we then have to waste our time unhiding comments. Repeat offenders will be banned.. . Please follow the rules, be respectful of Mr. Rickman, his partner, colleagues, friends and your fellow fans, as a banning often offends!.
