Pochodzę z dwóch słynnych rodów góralskich Gąsieniców Danieli i Krzeptowskich. Silnie zakorzenione tradycje narciarskie przejęłam po moich przodkach. Kilku z nich reprezentowało nasz kraj w sportach zimowych, a fenomenem historii polskiego sportu było uczestnictwo trojga z rodzeństwa na Igrzyskach Olimpijskich w Cortina d'Ampezzo - Helena, Andrzej i Maria. Helena powtórzyła swój występ w Squaw Valley, a ich młodszy brat Józef wystąpił w Grenoble. Również dziadek Andrzej z Krzeptowskich reprezentował Polskę w Olimpijskich zmaganiach w roku 1928 w St. Moritz. Jestem więc szóstą osobą z mojej rodziny, która stanęła na Olimpijskich trasach w tej najważniejszej imprezie sportowej.. Moja kariera narciarska rozpoczęła się we wczesnym dzieciństwie, gdzie już jako trzy letnia dziewczynka zaliczałam zjazdy na nartach z Kasprowego Wierchu, a zaraz potem brałam udział w pierwszych zawodach narciarskich. Od siódmego roku życia przynależę do klubów sportowych. Moja osoba była zawsze postrzegana przez trenerów jako talent narciarski. Determinacja rodziców, moja ciężka praca oraz poświęcenie trenerów doprowadziły mnie do wielkiego świata narciarzy.. . Obecnie jestem studentką Akademii Wychowania Fizycznego w Katowicach i przynależę do klubu AZS AWF Katowice.. Od siedmiu lat jestem także członkinią kadry Narodowej Polski w narciarstwie alpejskim.. Systematycznie uczestniczę w zawodach Pucharu Świata, Pucharu Europy, Pucharu Kontynentalnego N. Zelandii i Ameryki.. . Od 2004 roku moje życie toczy się poza domem rodzinnym, to mnóstwo wyrzeczeń i bardzo ciężka praca. Wynikiem tego jest duży postęp w moich osiągnięciach i potężny bagaż doświadczeń zdobywany przez te wszystkie lata. Progres mojej kariery w ostatnich latach rokuje ogromne nadzieje na zbliżające się Igrzyska Olimpijskie w Soczi. Moja praca w tym okresie będzie wspierana doświadczeniem znakomitego włoskiego trenera Gianluca Zanitzer oraz znanego w kręgu sportowców, włoskiego fizjologa Gianpiettro Mutti. .
