Detailed description is Der AFW e.V. hat sich das Ziel gesetzt den Studiengang Rechts- und Wirtschaftswissenschaften und dessen Studenten an der Universität Augsburg zu fördern. Der Studiengang Wirtschaftsjura wurde zum Wintersemester 2002 an der Universität Augsburg zunächst als Diplomstudiengang eingerichtet und ist zum Wintersemester 2008 auf einen gestuften Bachelor- / Masterstudiengang umgestellt worden. Unverändert beibehalten wurde der hohe Anspruch dieses auf Anregung der Wirtschaft hin geschaffen interdisziplinären Studienangebotes, das betriebswirtschaftliche und juristische Ausbildung miteinander kombiniert. Das Studium Wirtschaftsjura zeichnet sich durch ein universitären Maßstäben entsprechendes wissenschaftliches Niveau bei gleichzeitig großem Praxisbezug aus.. . Der Verein ist eine Initiative der Studierenden des ersten Jahrganges und wird seither von den nachfolgenden Semestern mit großem Engagement weitergeführt. Dabei stehen die Steigerung des Bekanntheitsgrades des Studiengangs und die Partnerschaften mit großen und mittelständischen Unternehmen im Mittelpunkt. Ziel ist es, den noch jungen Studiengang zu fördern, ihn in der Wissenschaftslandschaft sowie in der Wirtschaft als herausragende Marke zu etablieren und den Studierenden und Vertretern aus Praxis die Möglichkeit zum Gedankenaustausch zu bieten. Darüber hinaus versteht sich der Verein aber auch als Interessenvertretung des Studiengangs an der Rechtswissenschaftlichen Fakultät und als Netzwerk für Studierende, Alumni, Partnerunternehmen und Dozenten. . .
