ASAS Puget Sound’s vision and programming structure is the first of its kind in the state of Washington.
We take a holistic, long-term approach to out-of-school enrichment with a strategic and intentional focus on middle school-aged youth—while also working to close a crucial component of the opportunity gap by serving at disproportionately under-resourced schools.
We give our students a safe-haven during the “danger zone” hours of 3pm-6pm to help them gain the self-esteem and resilience necessary to avoid risky behavior that compromises their future economic stability..
