Detailed description is Adivasi Ekta Parishad, is established in 1992 but it is started in 1970 The Adivasi Ekta Parishad was established in the 1992 by the Adivasi Activists from Maharashtra to preserve the identity, art, culture, history, esteem, identity, knowledge and to protect the existence of Adivasis. In the year Dec 1992 the “earth summit”held at Rio-de Jenero in Brazil where 400 Adivasi leaders of 68 countries had jointly opposed the injustice and exploitation on Adivasis against the leaders of the world, intellectuals, scientists, religious leaders and kings and pass the resolution to save the Adivasi culture, values, ethics, lifestyle, self-rule and nature. UNO (United Nations Organization) declares the year 1993 as “Adivasi Year”and Adivasi decade from 1994. Adivasi Year was celebrated in Gujarat on the day of 1st Jan 1993, at Dungari, Surat, Gujarat and mass celebration of four states viz. Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhyapradesh, Rajasthan and union Territory Dadra Nagar Haveli in 1994 on 14th & 15th Jan. at Ankushvihir Maharashtra. In that summit thousands of Adivasi activists were gathered and the resolution was passed to raise the community awareness to preserve the identity, art, culture, history, esteem, identity, knowledge and to save mother Earth
