Detailed description is The Ada Food Pantry provides a two to three day supply of food to local people in need. Each month 75 – 150 people, or 40 – 55 households, receive aid. Clients are registered during their first visit of the calendar year. At the initial visit the client must present Social Security cards for every member of the household. This requirement is waived for households of one or two people. The client must also present an Ohio driver’s license, or equivalent photo ID, as well as a current utility bill or lease agreement with an Ada or Dola address. Photo ID and utility bill / agreement must be presented for all subsequent visits.. . All donations to the Pantry are welcome. Besides food, the Pantry distributes paper products, personal care products, and cleaning supplies. Items can be delivered during the Pantry’s open hours, or there may be a collection area at your church.. . Monetary donations can be dropped off at the Pantry or mailed to P.O. Box 206, Ada OH 45810. The Ada Food Pantry is registered as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Contributions to the Pantry are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
